Celebrating 10 Years of Supporting Children & Families
For the past 10 years, Buncrana’s Children’s Charity has proudly supported children and families across our community, providing help, hope, and opportunities to those who need it most.
As we celebrate this important milestone in 2026, we are delighted to announce a special programme of anniversary events taking place throughout the year. These events are not only a celebration of how far we have come, but also an opportunity to bring our community together, raise vital funds, and continue making a positive difference in the lives of local children.

Family Fun Days
Fun-tastic afternoons with bouncy castles, disco, games and raffles!
We have hosted 2 free Family Fun-Day so far in both Tooban and Muff with more planned throughout Inishowen in 2026. This is our way of giving back to out local communities who continue to support us and to bring smiles to the children of Inishowen!

Children's Summer Festival
Saturday, 20th July 2026 from 12pm to 4pm
Shore Front, Buncrana
Free Entry!
A fun-filled afternoon for families featuring bouncy castles, games, art, sports, competitions, music & dancing, alongside performances from talented local groups.

Media & Celebration Day
November 2026
A media event in conjunction with Highland Radio to celebrate our 10th anniversary milestone, to formally announce the new charity name and to launch the BCC Development Plan.

10th Anniversary Show - Strictly Come Dancing
Saturday, 14th September 2026
Join us for a spectacular night of local talent as our dancers take to the stage to compete for the coveted Glitter Ball Trophy. Event hosted by Noel Cunningham followed by concert with Johnny Brady & band.
